How can small businesses engage in federal rulemaking?

Thursday, March 14th
2:00-3:00 pm ET

Representatives of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy discussed the regulatory process as it applies to small business stakeholders in the energy and clean energy industries. SBA’s Office of Advocacy is an independent voice for small business within the federal government, the watchdog for the Regulatory Flexibility Act (RFA) and the source of small business statistics. It advances the views and concerns of small business before Congress, the White House, the federal agencies, the federal courts and state policy makers.

The webinar featured the following speakers:

  • Karen Villatoro, Regulatory Economist for Energy and Natural Resource Policy, U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy
  • Prianka Sharma, Assistant Chief Counsel for Agriculture, Energy, and Natural Resource Policy, U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy
