Speakers:

Reta Jo Lewis is President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM). Lewis is a senior executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in international affairs, legal, public policy, business and regulatory affairs, and subnational diplomacy. She was most recently a Senior Fellow and Director of Congressional Affairs at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Lewis was the first Black woman to serve as Vice President and Counselor to the President at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Jake Levine serves as Chief Climate Officer of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), where he leads the agency’s climate team, and is responsible for setting the vision for and implementing DFC’s climate finance agenda. Levine is an attorney by training, and has represented clients in various climate, clean energy, and clean air matters. He previously served in government in the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change, and later as Senior Counsel to California State Senator Fran Pavley.

Moderated by Bob Keefe, E2’s Executive Director. Prior to joining E2 in 2011, Bob spent more than 20 years as a political, business and environmental journalist. He is the author of “Climatenomics: Washington, Wall Street and the Economic Battle for our Planet” (Rowman & Littlefield, May 2022) and co-author of several other business-related books.
