When you don’t own your roof, walls, or HVAC system, how can you improve energy efficiency or invest in renewables? The Tenant’s Triumph examines this question through the lenses of behavioral techniques and technical steps companies can employ.

The Institute for Market Transformation (IMT) begins the webinar through examination of key management techniques, including suggestions on data transparency (access to utility information, master meter systems), and tenant-landlord communication systems.

MHR Development will discuss technical approaches to optimize a tenant’s energy signature, such as energy and water efficiency optimization software, and subscription-based services such as lighting and solar energy generation. MHR will also review the utility of key tools such as cost-benefit analyses (ROI), and process reengineering to improve energy use.

The landlord’s perspective on motivations behind and experiences with tenant energy improvement projects will be represented from the Notre Dame Health and Rehabilitation Center. These include solar installations, boiler upgrades, and more.
