CEBN Outreach on FY 2020 Appropriations
The Administration’s budget request for fiscal year 2020—which begins Oct. 1, 2019—proposed an 11% cut to Energy Department funding and significant reductions or elimination of a number of clean energy programs, such as Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E), ENERGY STAR, the CHP Partnership Program, and CHP Technical Assistance Program (CHP TAP).
A letter signed by 48 CEBN members comprised outside testimony submitted to the House Appropriations Committee on April 12, 2019. You can continue to sign onto the letter until April 24, 2019, when CEBN will prepare it for submission to the Senate Appropriations Committee.
