In concert with Earth Day on Friday, April 22, the City of East Orange, New Jersey is planning to officially launch its “Green Initiative” — a dynamic new partnership with 4.0 Analytics. Adding to this historical launch, 4.0 Analytics is the “first ever and only” Black-owned company in this industry segment.

4.0 Analytics’ Mechanic On Board® technology improves vehicle operating efficiency while reducing carbon emissions. Installation of the technology began in January 2022 and will outfit multiple light and medium duty vehicles of the municipal fleet.  Additional benefits of the technology will be significant cost savings to taxpayers, as well as an improvement in the city’s overall health, which has been disproportionately impacted by higher rates of asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, heart disease, cancer and more. All communities, including Environmental Justice communities, will benefit.
