Techstars has announced the commencement of eight accelerator programs, accepting proposals from startups involved in recycling, energy and refining. The major components of the application include basic information, team information and program-specific questions like company vision, traction, funding, location etc. Applicants would have access to managing directors, staff and alumni firms.
The NC Clean Energy Technology Center is accepting innovative clean energy business proposals and technology solutions, from students at North Carolina-based institutions. The submissions should revolve around: Energy innovation, Energy poverty or NextGen energy challenges. The competition involves three rounds and the finalists would be invited to attend the full 2019 State Energy Conference on April 30 and May 1.

The three areas of focus include cost reduction, the reliability of hydrogen infrastructure and new capabilities.
Greentown Labs along with CertainTeed and Saint-Gobain’s NOVA, invite innovative ideas to disrupt the built environment value chain. Entrepreneurs from emerging technology areas and who have reached the prototype stage are expected to apply with a clearly defined problem and solutions, in order to be considered. Major benefits include equity investments, technical assistance and acceptance into a 6-month acceleration program.
