The four technical areas of interest are materials R&D, new processes R&D, modelling and simulation tools, and integrated data and analysis.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) invites applications for improving the water and waste disposal systems in rural America. The various program goals include the following: improved water systems and service, reduction in water-borne illness, the creation of economic opportunity in rural America and improved water system operations through technical assistance.
