The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is investing billions of dollars into spurring a domestic manufacturing resurgence through the clean energy industry. How can your business or organization seize its share? Join the Clean Energy Business Network for a webinar exploring a range of DOE manufacturing programs, including new resources from the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law intentionally targeting economically distressed and energy transition communities. This session will provide insights into programs available at all stages—from the earliest days of community engagement and planning to the construction of pilot facilities to scaling and sustaining a robust local manufacturing industry. Topics will include cash prizes such as the MAKE IT Prize and the Community Energy Innovation Prize, grant programs from the DOE’s Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains, and the Section 48C Advanced Energy Project Credit.

Guest speakers include:
  • Zach Valdez, Strategic Advisor for the DOE Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains
  • Briggs White, Deputy Executive Director for the Interagency Working Group on Coal and Power Plant Communities and Economic Revitalization
