Speakers:

  • Ellen Hughes-Cromwick, Senior Resident Fellow for Climate and Energy Program, Third Way and former Chief Economist of the U.S. Department of Commerce, will present findings on how clean energy employers are responding to COVID-19
  • Timothy Alan Simon, Esq., Former Commissioner, California Public Utilities Commission, will provide insights on clean energy workforce development needs, including diversity and inclusion
  • Camille Moore, 2020 Jan Schori Fellow, Business Council for Sustainable Energy, will present research conducted by BCSE examining the scope of workforce development initiatives currently pending in Congress
  • Shaun Garrison, Director of Congressional Affairs for the Solar Energy Industries Association, will provide insights and analysis on workforce development

This is the fourth installment of Powering Forward, a webinar series from BCSE & CEBN that examines developments across the clean energy economy in the U.S. This series acknowledges unique impacts facing clean energy industries during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the vital role of our sectors in our future economic recovery.
