Roundtables with Mid-Atlantic Public Utility Commissioners

The Clean Energy Business Network participated in an intimate roundtable breakfast discussion with public utility commissioners from the mid-Atlantic region on June 25 and 26.

Attendees included Commissioners from the region, members of the Clean Energy Business Network and Business Council for Sustainable Energy (CEBN’s parent organization), and representatives of the GridWise Alliance. A special thanks to CEBN members that attended this program.

Commissioners provided a brief overview of significant energy and utility issues in their states and the broader mid-Atlantic region. A partner organization, the GridWise Alliance, provided an overview of its soon-to-be-published, Grid Modernization Index (GMI), which ranks all 50 states according to their progress in grid modernization. The program finished with a discussion between participants and the commissioners in attendance.
