Washington, D.C. – The Presidents of the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE) and the Clean Energy Business Network (CEBN) offered the following statements in response to the status of the climate provisions and clean energy and energy efficiency tax measures under consideration in a reconciliation package.

Washington, D.C. – The Presidents of the BCSE and CEBN sent letters today to members of the House and Senate Leadership and to President Biden urging them to reach agreement by Memorial Day and enact into law prior to the August recess, a budget reconciliation package with robust and transformative climate change policies and clean energy, sustainable transportation and energy efficiency tax measures.
More than 110 clean energy leaders from 34 states have signed on to CEBN’s letter advocating for robust funding for the Department of Energy and new and existing federal cleantech programs. On Friday, the Clean Energy Business Network shared this letter with Congressional leadership.
