The Clean Energy Business Network has been chosen as The Cleanie Awards® Gold recipient for Non-Profit of the Year. The Cleanie Awards program is the first comprehensive awards program exclusive to the cleantech industry. The program sets out to recognize innovation excellence, business leadership and superior outreach campaigns. Nominations were submitted from individuals and organizations of all sizes and across many facets of the industry.

The Clean Energy Business Network is pleased to highlight that CEBN President Lynn Abramson will provide testimony today for members of the House Committee on Small Business Subcommittee on Rural Development, Agriculture, Trade, and Entrepreneurship. The hearing, titled “Growing the Clean Energy Economy,” provides an opportunity for Committee members to hear about the small businesses across the country working in the clean energy economy and to review the policies that impact them.

The CEBN is pleased to highlight a new partnership with The Heat is Power Association (HiP), the national trade association for the waste heat to power (WHP) industry. Under this new arrangement, CEBN President Lynn Abramson and Program Manager Andy Barnes will assist in promoting the WHP industry in Washington, DC and work to advance HiP’s policy objectives on the federal level.

Small business leaders from the Clean Energy Business Network are coming to Washington March 12 and 13 to highlight their energy innovations on Capitol Hill. In meetings with lawmakers and their staffs, the business leaders will discuss the need to protect and grow federal funding for the Department of Energy and clean energy innovation overall.

The Clean Energy Business Network (CEBN)—a group of 3,000+ business leaders in all 50 states working across every aspect of the clean energy economy—finalized its inaugural board of directors on March 14, 2018. This development marks yet another milestone in the process of transitioning the organization from its former home within The Pew Charitable Trusts to its new home within the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE).

Leading clean energy organizations announced their participation in the first annual National Clean Energy Week (NCEW), which will take place from September 25-29, 2017.

The Clean Energy Business Network is pleased to announce it is now fully operational as an independent initiative of the Business Council for Sustainable Energy. Started in 2009 by The Pew Charitable Trusts, the CEBN moved to the Business Council for Sustainable Energy in May 2017.

The Business Council for Sustainable Energy is excited to announce a new partnership with The Pew Charitable Trusts’ Clean Energy Business Network beginning May 1. Pew launched the Clean Energy Business Network (CEBN) in 2009 to inform and engage clean energy business leaders in federal policy issues affecting the industry. It has grown to over 3,000 members from the 50 U.S. states representing all aspects of the clean energy economy.
