The Business Council for Sustainable Energy and Clean Energy Business Network hosted a webinar briefing and Q&A on the 2019 Sustainable Energy in America Factbook on February 26.
In December 2017, the CEBN activated its collective network and a subset of its members submitted comments for the initial deadline of a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Grid Reliability and Resiliency Pricing, which was initiated at the request of Energy Secretary Perry. Based on the criteria laid out, this pricing system would likely favor nuclear and coal power plants. On January 8, FERC rejected the proposal.
